“Once again the conservative majority on the Supreme Court has dealt a blow to a fundamental part of our nation. Labor unions are the backbone of prosperity and the middle class in America. For years, our brothers and sisters in the labor movement have fought for workers to have a dignified salary and a safe workplace. Today, their ability to defend our community has been crippled. As the daughter of a union organizer and a former shop steward myself, I am committed to fighting for our ability to defend our workers. We stand with you! Today and always.”
