Calling all young, progressive women: join us for an empowerment brunch in support of Catalina Cruz! Let’s discuss what activism and women rights looks like in our local community. The Women’s March kicked off the largest, non-violent protest against our current administration in defense of intersectional women’s rights. Since then young women everywhere have fought against racist and xenophobic policies with political courage and moral will. Women like Catalina Cruz, who was inspired by her mother’s courage to start a new life in a foreign place and chase the American Dream.
