I will stand up to Donald Trump and fight the Republican agenda of racism, sexism, and xenophobia. But I can't do it alone. It’s going to take strong grassroots campaign to defeat the powerful interests that have lined up against us.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I’m running for the State Assembly to give back to the neighborhoods of Corona, Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights, which have given so much to me and my family. I am ready to be a leader for everyone which is why we have developed a comprehensive plan to support our lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. My plan comes after organizing a roundtable discussion with LGBT advocates and community leaders to discuss issues and priorities.

Catalina's LGBT Agenda [Video]

video
Our LGBT community is part of the fabric of who we are. They are our family, friends, and neighbors. Although our City and State have made some great strides towards advancing LGBT rights, much more remains to be done to achieve true equality and ensure the protections and services they deserve.

Our campaign’s LGBT platform is crafted by the community, for the community. We need a leader in Albany who can begin to address the many inequalities and injustices that still exist for LGBT families and individuals. I promise you that nobody will fight harder for our community.

March with Catalina at Queens Pride

Sunday at 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Meeting Place: 37th Avenue & 89th Street
8901 37th Avenue,
Jackson Heights, New York 11372

Join our community on Sunday, June 3rd in Jackson Heights to march in the Queens Pride Parade. The members of the LGBT community are our friends, neighbors, and family. Since 1993, Queens Pride has worked to raise awareness, fight for equality and provide education about the LGBT community. Help us celebrate our brothers and sisters by walking through our community side-by-side. This year, Catalina will march in honor of dear friend Adelaide Connaughton- who first introduced her to Queens Pride and taught Catalina the importance of being an ally in action and not just title. See you there!
